Notification on Optimization of FPS (Including Payment Connect) Alias Binding Rules
Dear Customer,
To provide a more convenient dual-currency receiving experience, the bank will optimize the alias binding rules (including but not limited to mobile numbers or email addresses) for FPS (including Payment Connect) starting from September 21, 2025 (Sunday), as follows:
- For accounts, the first alias binding will be automatically linked to your master account. Existing accounts or single-currency accounts will remain unaffected. If you wish to activate the dual-currency service, please rebind your alias to the master account.
- After binding to the master account of a comprehensive consolidated account, HKD and RMB remittances will be automatically credited to your HKD current sub-account and RMB savings sub-account (applicable only to comprehensive consolidated accounts with RMB sub-accounts). If you have activated automatic repayment account or other linked services, please ensure review and updates to relevant settings immediately.
