Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) has been providing custody services in Hong Kong since 2007, and wholly owns ICBC (Asia) Trustee Company Limited, which fully integrate custody, trustee, and fund administration services. By the end of June 2024, the assets under custody of ICBC (Asia) has exceeded HK$900 billion, making it the largest overseas custody institution of the ICBC Group, covering global sovereign institutions, central banks, insurance companies, asset management companies, commercial banks, securities companies and other institutions. ICBC (Asia) mainly supports custody services for Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors (“QDII”), Qualified Foreign Investors (“QFI”), Hong Kong unit trusts, mutual funds, private funds, Cayman funds, hedge funds, Open-Ended Fund Companies (“OFC”), Limited Partnership Funds (“LPF”), Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, and Northbound and Southbound Bond Connect.

ICBC (Asia) provides custody services covering more than 90 markets worldwide through its group and sub-custody network. It is also a key sub-custodian for mainland QDII cross-border products, serving as an important bridge and link for cross-border collaboration with mainland investment managers. Since 2013, ICBC (Asia) has continuously obtained International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402 certification (“ISAE3402”), demonstrating that our custody internal controls and risk management are in line with international standards.
