Canada Pavilion has recently been launched on ICBC's e-commerce platform – e-Buy, providing more choices for consumers to purchase premium products of Canada.
Canada Pavilion has selected honey and various other commodities that originate from Canada. Local institutions of ICBC have strictly reviewed merchants and commodities to ensure genuine and authentic products. More quality products will be offered ahead of Christmas and the Chinese New Year.
E-Buy has consistently targeted renowned merchants, renowned brands, and renowned goods since it was launched in January 2014, and continued to expand and diversify the categories and sources of branded products to provide better quality and service for upgraded consumption. In the first ten months of the year, the trading volume of ICBC e-Buy exceeded RMB600 billion with over 24 million registered users on the platform. In cross-border e-commerce, ICBC's extensive global network and strong overseas customer resources have provided natural advantages for its business operation. As it has opened branches in the location of overseas pavilions, ICBC can directly select local customers of local institutions and strictly check customers’ qualifications and products to ensure the products are genuine and timely put on shelf the best-sellers of overseas markets. Meanwhile, e-Buy will attempt to sell China's quality products in overseas markets to accelerate China's extension from “global factory” to “global store”.
