Business Booms on the Opening Day of Singapore Pavilion of E-Buy
 

The sales boomed on November 6, the opening day of Singapore Pavilion of ICBC e-commerce platform e-Buy. A variety of products of Dragon Brand Bird's Nest, a time-honored brand in Singapore were sold out within a few hours.

"Little did we expect the sale to be so good on the first day and we are organizing the goods to be shipped to China." Mr. Allan Tan, Director and General Manager of Dragon Brand Bird's Nest - the first merchant to register in Singapore Pavilion of e-Buy told the reporter, "We launched 10 categories of products this time, with the first category was sold out within three hours after we opened for business in the morning. Four categories were sold out by 6 o'clock in the afternoon and few were left of the rest six categories. We are very glad that ICBC has provided this platform for us and provided the channel for Singapore's brands to enter China and the global e-commerce market inexpensively and efficiently."

"China's e-commerce market has a huge potential, and will achieve more rapid development in the future; this is the best time for Singapore's brands to enter China." Mr. Zhang Weiwu, General Manager of ICBC Singapore Branch said, "we are negotiating with and will launch a number of branded companies in such industries as food, dietary supplement, fashion and jewelry, artwork and tourism, several Singaporean logistics companies are negotiating with us on cross-border logistics cooperation, and several local e-commerce companies are intending to cooperate with us in cross-border online payment."
