U.S. Stocks End Higher After Trump Victory--Nov 9
 

U.S. stocks reversed early losses and closed up Wednesday, as Wall Street was assessing the economic impacts after U.S. Republican Donald Trump won the country's presidential election.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 256.95 points, or 1.40 percent, to 18,589.69. The S&P 500 rose 23.70 points, or 1.11 percent, to 2,163.26. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased 57.58 points, or 1.11 percent, to 5,251.07.
