The Malaysian stock market ended lower here on Tuesday.

The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,635.53 down 6.20 points or 0.38 percent, and the Emas was at 11,453.72 down 12.82 points or 0.11 percent.

There were 446 gainers, 361 losers and 311 counters traded unchanged.

Turnover declined to 1.67 billion shares valued at 1.07 billion ringgit Malaysia(238.04 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.45 billion shares valued at 1.76 billion ringgit Malaysia(392.20 million U.S. dollars) on last Friday.
