Indian markets closed higher Monday. Benchmark indices traded in a narrow range, even as selling pressure continued, while the market struggled to get back to opening levels.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 30,570.97, 106.05 points or 0.35 percent up compared to its previous close at 30,464.92.
