German Stocks Down 0.57 pct Monday-March 6
 

German stocks went down on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 68.96 points, or 0.57 percent, to close at 11,958.40 points.

Deutsche Bank, industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and Infineon Technologies were the top three losers of the blue chips, whose shares went down by 7.89 percent, 1.86 percent and 1.54 percent respectively.

The top winner is energy group E.ON, which gained by 0.9 percent. Personal-care manufacturer Beiersdorf from Hamburg and reinsurance company Munich Re both gained 0.39 percent.

In two consecutive trading days, Deutsche Bank was the most traded share with a turnover of 662.16 million euros (701.22 million U.S. dollars).
