Chinese stocks closed mixed on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.46 percent, at 3,277 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.29 percent higher at 11,068.87 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.07 percent to close at 2,166.05 points.
