FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreased by 0.15 percent, or 11.13 points, to 7,338.99 points.

Share price of Intertek Group increased by 4.76 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. J Sainsbury, Smiths Group, ConvaTec Group and Croda International increased by 1.31 percent, 1.11 percent, 1.06 percent and 1.04 percent respectively.

Paddy Power Betfair led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.86 percent, following by Standard Life (3.78 percent), Direct Line Insurance Group (2.93 percent), Antofagasta (2.62 percent) and Shire (2.25 percent).
