Announcement on the Upgrade of the E-banking System

Dear Customers,

To provide you with more diversified and convenient services, we will upgrade the e-banking system on April 21, 2013. Voice menu speed dial of telephone banking and e-payroll of mobile banking will be launched, and such products as ICBC e-payment and personal Internet banking toll station will be improved (Click here for details). The services of Internet banking, telephone banking, mobile banking, SMS banking, Bank-Enterprise Interlink and other relevant systems will be suspended from 3:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Major Functions of the E-banking System upgrading

Voice menu speed dial service of telephone banking. When using telephone banking service of ICBC, personal customers may access to corresponding function menu through a speed dial, and thus business handling efficiency is improved and customer experience enhanced. Customers may inquire the function menu speed dial codes of telephone banking through SMS banking of ICBC.

Upgrading of mobile banking. E-payroll inquiry function is added to the mobile banking; the log-in alert SMS function is enriched, that is, the log-in alert message can be forwarded to 95588 to realize enforced log-out, making mobile banking safer. New functions such as personal loans and mobile stock market are available in mobile banking of phones installed with Android and WindowsPhone systems.

Upgrading of The ICBC e-payment function. Personal customers are able to activate ICBC e-payment function for multiple cards or accounts at one time, enhancing customer experience. ICBC e-payment is added as a new transaction certification tool in transfer, bill payment and making appointment for cash withdrawal through mobile banking.

Upgrading of The personal Internet banking toll station. To enhance customer experience, ICBC improves the personal Internet banking toll station function by re-designing the webpage layout, adjusting the displaying mode of bill payment items and including all charitable donation payment items into the level-1 column for charitable donation. 

Upgrading of Internet banking via tablet PC. New functions such as Defined Investment of Paper Precious Metals, Gold Accumulation Products service and two-way trading of foreign exchange are added to Internet banking via iPad and tablet PC installed with Android systems.

Generation II USB-Key can be used for Internet banking based on Chrome and Firefox browsers. After logging in the Internet banking system of the Bank via Chrome or Firefox, personal customers can complete the transaction certification by the Generation II USB-Key, and thus the transaction safety of customers using the above browsers is improved. 

Upgrading of VIP service of corporate Internet banking. Accounts of other banks are added as new payment receivers in the batch payment function of finance room of corporate Internet banking VIP service. In addition, customer-end software of corporate Internet banking updates on web portal of ICBC.
