Announcement on the Upgrading of E-banking System
 

Dear Customers:

We plan to upgrade the E-banking system on January 13, 2013 to provide more considerate and convenient services. The newly added features include personal Internet banking on Windows8 tablet PC, B2C payment for Internet banking on iPad, lucky draw for transactions via mobile banking and many other products and services (Click here for details). The services of Internet banking, telephone banking, mobile banking, SMS banking, Bank-Enterprise Interlink and other relevant systems will be suspended from 3:30 am-7:30 am.

Major Functions of the E-banking System upgrading

Internet banking on Windows8 tablet PC. Client software for personal Internet banking is launched for customers of Windows8 tablet PC, which can be downloaded and installed via the Windows application program store of Microsoft.
B2C payment for Internet banking on iPad. The service of B2C payment will be available along with the new client software for Internet banking on iPad in the near future. Customers can use iPad for B2C payment after upgrading the client.
Lucky draw for transactions via mobile banking. Lucky draw function will be launched at client of mobile banking on iPhone, Android and WindowsPhone. After conducting transactions via mobile banking, customers can participate in the real-time lucky draw to win electronic awards such as top-up cards and gift vouchers.
Upgrading of WindowsPhone mobile banking. The WindowsPhone mobile banking and the WindowsPhone8 mobile phone are made more compatible.
Upgrading of ICBC E-Payment limit. The monthly accumulative limit for ICBC E-Payment is cancelled. Customers can adjust the daily accumulative limit by themselves within the limit of RMB1,000.
Upgrading of voice menu of mobile banking. “Corporate service” and “My shortcut menu” are added to the first-tier menu. Besides, in terms of the identity verification for self-help service, customer’s identity will be verified after a service is selected, and the self-service registration process is also simplified, improving the self-service efficiency of mobile banking.
