ICBC (Asia) Mobile Banking App Launches Gesture Login and Security Center Service

In order to provide a faster and more convenient mobile banking service, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“the Bank”) has introduced Gesture Login Service. You can use gesture authentication as an alternative to password to access mobile banking!  

To provide customer with a one-stop security service, the Bank introduces the Security Center Service with six functions, which includes security detection, emergency treatment, login management, account security lock, security verification management and security log, to protect customers’ information and transaction.

Steps for activation:


Step 1:
Log in with online banking username/account no. and password, click “Me” in the bottom right corner and click “Service and Settings”.


Step 2:
Select “Gesture Login Setting” .


Step 3:
Input the SMS verification code.


Step 4:
Swipe the button next to the “Gesture password”.


Step 5:
Draw gesture password (a minimum five connection points), then repeat the drawing to reconfirm.


Step 6:
System will return to “Gesture Login Setting” page, set up is completed.

Remarks:
1.The【Gesture login】service is applicable on any mobile devices that can download the ICBC (Asia) Mobile Banking App. Recommended operation systems, mobile brands, and models:
- Apple iOS 9.0 or above: iPhone
- Android OS 5.0 or above: Samsung, Huawei, etc.
2.Please download the latest version of mobile banking to enjoy this function.
