Introduce the Brand-New “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication Service” in ICBC(Asia) Mobile Banking
In order to provide a faster and more convenient mobile banking service, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (the ‘Bank’) has introduced the Brand-New “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication Service”to make breakthrough on the traditional transaction authentication service..Using fingerprint authentication as an alternative to password to complete your low risk mobile banking transaction.
1)Applicable Devices：
Touch ID/Fingerprint transaction authentication service is just applicable to phones with fingerprint recognition sensor.iPhone 5s or later iPhone models with an operation system of iOS7 or above.
Android phones with an operation system android 6.0 or above.
2)Supported Transaction Type：
- FPS Fast Payment（small value transfers）
- Transfer and Remittance（small value transfers）
- Transfer and Remittance（to a registered third party account）
- QR Code Transfer
- Currency Trading（to a registered third party account）
- Time Deposit（Transfer to a registered third party account）
3)Startup Process：
1. Log in mobile banking with your online banking username/account no. and password to activate “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication Service”.
2. Under “Me”-“Services and Settings”, slide the button next to the “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication Service”to the right.
3. Read and confirm tips.
4. View and accept the terms and conditions.
5. SMS verification.
6. Touch ID/Fingerprint verification.
7. Upon the successful verification,fingerprint,confirmation message will be popped up. When you back to the “Service and
settings”page and will find that the button next to “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication Setting”is opened which means the “Touch ID/Fingerprint Transaction Authentication”service is activated.
8. Email and SMS will be sent when the service is activated.
