Customer Notice for “ICBC(Asia) Apps Service Personal Data Collection and Privacy Policy Statement”

In accordance with the Bank’s “Personal Data Collection and Privacy Policy Statement” and to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's policy on the use of personal data collected from our customers in relation to the Bank’s Apps Service, a new exclusive “ICBC(Asia) Apps Service Personal Data Collection and Privacy Policy Statement” will be applied on our Bank’s Apps Service, effective from 03 December 2020 (the “Effective Date”). “E-Banking Services Personal Information Collection and Privacy Policy Statements” will no longer be applied on Bank’s Apps Service but still applies to internet banking. The relevant changes are as follows:

1)Revisions on the purposes of our data collection; 2) the access right of information for the protection of personal data; 3) the classes of persons to whom the Bank may transfer personal data; 4) the right to enquire and alter personal data.

You may visit the amended “ICBC(Asia) Apps Service Personal Data Collection and Privacy Policy Statement” on or after the Effective Date. You do not need to sign or return any document. However, please note that the amendments shall be binding on you if you retain or continue your mobile banking relationship with us after the Effective Date.
If there are any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
