During the promotion period, eligible customers¹ who bind their ICBC UnionPay Credit Card or ICBC Visa Credit Card to WeChat Pay HK and make a single eligible transaction of the designated amount can enjoy the following instant discounts:

How to bind an ICBC Credit Card on WeChat Pay HK

1. Open WeChat > Select “Me” > “Pay and Services” > “Bank Cards”;

2. Select “Add Bank Card or Bank Account” > “Add Credit Card”;

3. Enter your ICBC Credit Card number, Validity, and CVV Code as prompted. Accept “User Agreement” and tap “Next”;

4. Enter One-time Password (OTP) and complete verification, and your ICBC card will be linked after successful verification.

Notes:

This Program is only applicable to cardholders (“Eligible Customers”) holding ICBC UnionPay Credit Cards or ICBC Visa Credit Cards (personal cards) (“Eligible ICBC Credit Card”); corporate cards are excluded.

Eligible customers who bind their ICBC UnionPay Credit Card or ICBC Visa Credit Card to WeChat Pay HK and make a single eligible transaction of the designated amount can enjoy an instant discount. The instant discount will be automatically applied and shown as “Offer used” after successful payment. Only one instant discount can be used per transaction. The daily quota for instant discounts is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. If, at the time of payment by an Eligible Customer, the daily quota for the HK$10 instant discount has been reached while quotas for other instant discounts (e.g., HK$8) remain available, the system will automatically apply the HK$8 instant discount or the HK$3 instant discount in descending order (depending on the then-remaining availability of each instant discount), even if the transaction qualifies for the HK$10 instant discount (i.e., meets the applicable condition of spending HK$100 or above). The number of instant discounts available as recorded in the WeChat Pay HK system shall prevail under any circumstances, and no prior notification will be provided regarding the quota status.

Each Eligible Customer can obtain and use up to three HK$3 Instant Discounts, three HK$8 Instant Discounts, and three HK$10 Instant Discounts per calendar month; and a maximum of 9 times per tier of the instant discounts during the promotion period.
