New US Securities Customers Privilege:

Promotion Period: 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2024 (both dates inclusive)


  1. Registration Rewards
    Customers who have successfully signed the W-8BEN Form and registered the USD settlement account for the first time via “ICBC Smart Invest” APP during the Promotion Period can enjoy a cash reward, being a maximum of HK$200 cash reward for each Eligible Elite Club customer or Private Banking customer and HK$100 cash reward for each other Eligible customer.
  2. $0 Commission Privilege for Buying US Securities
    Eligible New Securities Customers can enjoy an instant $0 Commission privilege for buying US securities via “ICBC Smart Invest” APP in the first 3 months after Securities Accounts opening during the Promotion Period. There is no limitation on transaction amount and number of trades.
  3. Continuous $0 Commission Privilege for Buying US Securities
    Eligible New Securities Customers are required to successfully complete transactions of HK$10,000 or above (or its equivalent) via “ICBC Smart Invest” APP starting from the third month after Securities Accounts opening during the Promotion Period in order to continue enjoying the instant $0 Commission privilege for buying US securities via “ICBC Smart Invest” APP in the following month and so on. If customers do not complete securities transactions of HK$10,000 or above (or its equivalent) in any month starting from the third month, this privilege will be terminated starting from the following month and cannot be resumed.

  1. Existing Eligible Securities Account Customers $0 Commission Privilege for Buying US Securities
    Each Existing Eligible Securities Account Customers who newly activate US trading services can enjoy as low as $0 Commission privilege instantly for buying US securities via “ICBC Smart Invest” APP during the Promotion Period. The maximum $0 commission privilege for buying US securities is HK$8,000 or equivalent.

*This offer is only applicable to the Customers who have securities account(s) with the Bank on or before 31 August 2023 and have not successfully completed any US securities already listed on NASDAQ Exchange, New York Stock Exchange or American Stock Exchange from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023 and successfully signed W-8BEN Form and registered the USD settlement account during the Promotion Period (the “Existing Eligible US Securities Customers”).
