The information of the above insurance products is intended as a general summary provided by AXA General Insurance Hong Kong Limited or China Taiping Insurance (HK) Company Limited. Please refer to the Policy for exact terms and conditions and details of the exclusions. The above mentioned insurance products, offered by AXA General Insurance Hong Kong Limited or China Taiping Insurance (HK) Company Limited, are only available for subscription by residents of the Hong Kong SAR or the companies registered in the Hong Kong SAR.

China Taiping Insurance (HK) Company Limited (“China Taiping (HK)”) and AXA General Insurance Hong Kong Limited (“AXA General”) are authorised and regulated by the Insurance Authority to carry on general insurance business in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (“Hong Kong”).

Aon Insurance Management Agencies (HK) Limited (“Aon”) is an appointed insurance agent of China Taiping (HK) and AXA General. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ( Asia ) Limited ("ICBC (Asia)") is an appointed insurance sub-agent of Aon to distribute these products. These products are products of China Taiping (HK) or AXA General, but not Aon nor ICBC (Asia). Aon provides assistance in handling application documents, policy (including new and renewal) issuance and claims settlement for the general insurance products distributed by ICBC (Asia), on behalf of China Taiping (HK) and AXA General .

In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between ICBC (Asia) and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, ICBC (Asia) is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be resolved between directly China Taiping (HK) or AXA General and the customer.

ICBC (Asia) is granted an insurance agency licence under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41 of the Laws of Hong Kong) by Insurance Authority in Hong Kong. (Insurance agency licence no. of ICBC (Asia) is FA3169)

With effect from 1 January 2018, the Insurance Authority will start collecting a prescribed levy on insurance premiums from policyholders through insurance companies pursuant to the Insurance (Levy) Regulation and the Insurance (Levy) Order under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41).
