ICBC (Asia) Pays When You Pay

Whenever you make purchase with your ICBC Caritas-Hong Kong MasterCard, you are helping Caritas Hong Kong because ICBC (Asia) will donate 0.5% of your total spending amount to Caritas Hong Kong automatically as a support for its community services.

Fixed Amount Donation

You may choose to make a monthly donation in fixed amount (HK$100, 200, 300 or an amount set by you) through your ICBC Caritas-Hong Kong MasterCard to demonstrate your approval and support for Caritas HK’s beliefs and services.

Variable Amount Donation

Apart from fixed amount donation, you can also choose variable amount donation after every purchase. You can choose to round up each retail spending to the nearest whole One HK dollar or whole Ten HK dollars.

The above donation amount would be shown on the monthly Credit Card Account statement. Caritas HK will also issue donation receipt to cardholders for handling accounting or tax incentive.

Remark: Caritas HK will only issue receipt for donation of HK$100 or above per year.

Managing Hong Kong and Mainland China Accounts with Free Roaming

The Phone Banking Roaming Service gives customers 24-hour free access to account management. Customers in Mainland China dialing local number 95588 will be connected to Customer Service or Phone Banking Service of ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre. In Hong Kong, customers can contact our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 218 95588 to manage their ICBC accounts in Mainland China. This service enables you to manage your accounts in both places flexibly without incurring IDD charges.

  • Bonus Point

    For every HKD spent with your ICBC Caritas-HK MasterCard, you will receive 1 point. Accumulated bonus points can be redeemed for cash rebate and cash coupons. Bonus Point is valid for 1 year.

    You can also choose PhoenixMiles Mileage Rewards, for every HK$8 will be converted to 1 mile.

    Airlines cover the whole world: 21 countries and 100 cities. You only need 8,000 miles PhoenixMiles Mileage Rewards to get a one-way short-haul flight ticket.2

  • Cash Rebate

    Moreover, you can also choose cash rebate as spending rewards. For every HKD spent with the card you will be entitled to 0.5% cash rebate. Rebate amount will be calculated on monthly basis, and shown in the statement.

Rewards program is not applicable to cash advances, balance transfer, cash installment loan amount/ tax loan and personal loan amount/ merchant installment loan amount and the repayment amount, donations, tax payments, purchase of casino chips, gambling transactions, card account's fees, any financial charges and unauthorized transactions; Also, the Rewards are not applicable to the transactions of supermarkets, fuel, transportation fee, property, motor vehicle, wholesale, hospital and school fees in China etc. Transactions which have not been posted, cancelled, refunded or not authorized are not eligible to the rewards.

Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service3

Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service ("AAVS") enables you automatically to add value to any Octopus card / product without queuing when insufficient funds occur. Octopus card now can be used in Shenzhen. Octopus card / product with AAVS function can also be top-up at Shenzhen too.

The top-up value is entitled to cash rebate or bonus point as well as an interest-free repayment period. You can also apply for AAVS to your beloved ones.
