Brand-New function “RMB Fund Transfer” has been launched at our ATMs

In order to provide better automated banking services, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (the “Bank”) has introduced a new ATM function “RMB Fund Transfer”. Customer may enjoy the brand new ATM function free-of-charge by using valid ICBC(Asia) debit card or credit card. The new function is summarized as below:

You may process the following types of RMB Fund Transfer through the Bank's ATMs:
1. Fund Transfer from HKD primary/ subsidiary account of debit card or HKD subsidiary account of credit card to RMB subsidiary account within the same card2
2. Fund Transfer from RMB primary/ subsidiary account of debit card or RMB subsidiary account of credit card to HKD subsidiary account within the same card2
3. Fund Transfer from RMB primary/ subsidiary account of debit card or RMB subsidiary account of credit card to a third party's RMB account maintained with the Bank1

More privileged RMB e-exchange rate3 will be provided when you make fund transfers via the Bank's ATMs.
2. Process 7x 24 RMB exchange

All of Bank's 169 ATMs offer this brand new function, which means you may enjoy the RMB exchange function 24-hour daily. The limit of time and location of RMB exchange will be significantly reduced, so that you may manage your finance with ease.

Remarks:
1. Third-party fund transfer within the Bank is subject to the ATM daily withdrawal limit (ie HKD50,000 or its equivalents). The ATM daily withdrawal limit is also shared by the ATM cash withdrawal.
2. Cross-currency fund transfers involve currency exchange. Please refer to the reference exchange rate and actual transaction exchange rate on the ATM transaction screen and the customer advice (that you may select to print after processing the transaction) respectively.
3. Compared with the Bank's ATM Cash Withdrawal function.

5. Risks relating to RMB: The Chinese Renminbi is currently a restricted currency. Due to the exchange controls and/or restrictions which may be imposed by the PRC government on the convertibility or utilization of RMB from time to time, there is no guarantee that disruption in the transferability, convertibility or liquidity of RMB will not occur. There is thus a likelihood that you may not be able to convert the Chinese Renminbi received into other freely convertible currencies.

In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of notice, the English version shall prevail.
