Speed Remittance - fast and simple way for cross-border payment

ICBC (Asia) Speed Remittance is a brand new service of the ICBC "Global Transfer" Service which provides commercial and personal customers with a fast and convenient remittance service across the border. Beneficiaries can receive the fund within 30 minutes even they do not have the bank account .

Through Speed Remittance, beneficiaries can receive their money through huge outlets network on the Mainland.

Fast and convenient

Leveraging ICBC advanced setetlement system, remittance money will arrive at ICBC branches or outlets in 30 minutes during business hours.

Economical

Remittance fee is HK$200 and beneficiaries do not need to pay any additional fees.

Procedure is simple and convenient

Remitters only need to provide simple information such as beneficiaries' names and inform the beneficiaries the reference numbers and the passwords (PIN) of the remittance after amount remitted out. Beneficiaries have to present just their ID documents, remittance reference numbers and the passwords (PIN), to collect the fund at designated ICBC branches or outlets, regardless they have any bank account with ICBC.

Maximum remittance limit:

• Personal customer
  • ICBC (Asia) customer: 

    HK$200,000 (with ICBC account)

    HK$100,000 (without ICBC account/ has not provided the

    beneficiaries' account number)

  • non - ICBC (Asia) customer: 

    HK$20,000 (customer needs to provide proof of identity and address proof).

• Corporate customer
  • ICBC (Asia) customer :

    HK$2,000,000 (with ICBC account)

    HK$500,000 (without ICBC account/ has not provided the beneficiaries' account number)
