ICBC (Asia) Mortgage Life Plan provides you with a full coverage of protection, giving you and your family extra peace of mind.

Comprehensive Coverage

Mortgage Life Plan provides a full coverage of protection, including:

  1. Death
    If the insured member accidentally passes away, we will pay the outstanding balance of the mortgage loan for the insured.

  2. Total and Permanent Disability
    If the insured is totally and permanently disable to engage in any occupation or employment for 6 consecutive months as a result of body injury or sickness, we will refund the instalment amount paid for the past 6 months and will pay the instalment for the next 6 months for the insured. Later, if the insured can certify that his / her permanent disability continued, we will pay the balance of the mortgage loan for the insured.

  3. Disability insurance waiver
     Premium is calculated according to the applicant's entry age and year of tenor. Once application is approved, you can receive a free premium for the first month. Premium is fixed and will not be altered. If the insured member applies with the property owner or property guarantor jointly, each person can enjoy a 10% discount on their monthly premium.

Application Procedure

You can apply if you are between 18 and 60 and your property is on mortgage under ICBC (Asia). If you are under 45 and the mortgage loan is less than HK$3,000,000 or under 60 and the mortgage loan is less than HK$2,000,000, no medical examination will be required. Monthly premium will be debited directly from your ICBC (Asia) account.
