Our Personal Internet Banking is flexible and provides high integrity web security protection. By entering the correct Internet Banking Account Number and PIN, your transactions are encrypted by a highly secure web security system*. For additional protection, you can use an e-Certificate** ("e-Cert") or SMS password as the Two Factor Authentication.
*This service has adopted the 128-bit Secure Service Layer (SSL) and Public Key Cryptography protection for data communication between customer's Internet browser and the Bank website.
**Only Hong Kong Post e-Cert is applicable. Customers may change this login option by contacting us in writing. An e-Cert user will need an e-Cert for every login and conversely, a non e-Cert user will not be able to use e-Cert for login unless the login option has been changed.
