Renminbi / Hong Kong Dollar Account

Your ICBC Dual Currency Credit Card has both Renminbi and Hong Kong Dollar accounts in one card: purchases and cash withdrawals via ICBC and China UnionPay networks in Mainland China will be posted in Renminbi, so you won't have to pay extra money for exchange rate difference and overseas purchase handling fee for Renminbi; purchases and cash withdrawals via VISA network in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas will be posted in Hong Kong Dollars. Emergency Medical Protection in Mainland China

Principal Platinum and Gold Cardmembers will automatically enjoy The Medical Card1 worth of HK$600 from China Pacific Insurance. The policy entitles the Cardmember to emergency treatments at more than 1,000 key hospitals2 in Mainland China without prepaying deposits. Furthermore, you are entitled to other medical services such as hospital transfers and Hong Kong-bound post-treatment transportation. Other ICBC Cardmembers (Principal Classic Cardmember and all Supplementary Cardmember) can also enjoy the same degree of protection3 for just HK$450.

The Medical Card will be sent to Principal Cardmember within 3-4 weeks upon card activation. The Medical Card will be valid for 1 year. The service of the Medical Card will be suspended immediately upon the cancellation of ICBC Dual Currency Credit Card. If Principal Gold Cardmember is an existing Medical Card holder, China Pacific Insurance will provide the cardmember a Personal Accident Insurance coverage of up to HK$200,000. The new Phone Banking Roaming Service gives customers 24-hour free access to account management. Customers in Mainland China dialing local number 95588 will be connected to Customer Service or Phone Banking Service of ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre. In Hong Kong, customers can dial local number

With ICBC "Verified by Visa" Service, you will assign a personal password and a personal alert message upon your preference. In case of card loss or theft regardless of where you are, immediately report the

case to ICBC (Asia) Credit Card 24-hour Lost Card Reporting Hotline on (852) 8106 0123. Immediate report of loss would minimize your liability in subsequent unauthorized transaction(s) to not exceeding HK$500.

VISA Gold Emergency Support Service

  • Remit your payment in Hong Kong Dollars to Mainland China1 through ICBC (Asia) branches in Hong Kong or arrange autopay from your ICBC (Asia) account. Handling fee will be waived3. Please effect payment at least 5 working days before the Payment Due Date.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC(Asia) Credit Card Centre” in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC(Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 7 working days before the Payment Due Date. Please write your Credit Card account number marked with “Renminbi Payment” at the back of your cheque. The payment of your Renminbi balance will be in the form of a remittance1 and the handling fee will be waived3. Please note that a separate cheque should be given for the payment of Hong Kong Dollars balance.
  • Arrange transfer from your ICBC account in Mainland China through Internet Banking Service4 (Website: http://www.icbc.com.cn).
  • Direct cash, cheque or transfer funds from your account with ICBC (Asia) at any ICBC (Asia) branches.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC(Asia) Credit Card Centre”   and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 3 clearing days before  the Payment Due Date. Remember to write your Credit Card account number on the back of the cheque.
  • Settle payment through any ATM bearing “JET PAYMENT” logo or JETCO (Website: http://www.jetco.com.hk) from your bank account held at any JETCO member bank. (Please effect payment at least 1 clearing day before the Payment Due Date.)
  • Settle payment through Payment by Phone Service (PPS); ICBC (Asia) PPS Merchant Code is 9232. (Please effect payment at least 1 clearing day before the Payment Due Date.)
  • Settle payment through ATMs which carry the JETCO sign, ICBC (Asia) Phone Banking Services or Internet Banking Services1 by fund transfer from your ICBC (Asia) savings, current or 349 Super Account(s).
  • Autopay2.
In Mainland China
  • Direct cash deposit in ICBC domestic outlets with savings office in Mainland China.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre” in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 7 working days before the Payment Due Date. Please write your Credit Card account number marked with “Renminbi Payment” at the back of your cheque.   • Call PPS through IDD and instruct payment. ICBC (Asia) PPS Merchant Code is 9232. (Please effect payment at least 1 clearing day before the Payment Due Date.)
  • Arrange autopay2 from your bank account in Hong Kong.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre” and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) must receive your cheque 3 clearing days6 before the Payment Due Date. Remember to write your Credit Card account number on the back of the cheque.

Only applicable to Cardmember who selected ATM facilities on their ICBC Credit Card. The PIN for Phone Banking Services will be mailed to Cardmember.

Please remit the payable amount in Hong Kong Dollars first while the difference will be posted to your Renminbi account. Renminbi cannot be used to settle your Renminbi balance in Hong Kong.
