Renminbi / Hong Kong Dollar Accounts

The Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card has both Renminbi and Hong Kong Dollar accounts in one card: purchases and cash withdrawals via ICBC and UnionPay networks in Mainland China will be posted in Renminbi, so that you will not have  to pay extra money for overseas purchase handling fee for Renminbi; purchases and cash withdrawals via Visa network in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas will be posted in Hong Kong Dollars. Free MediExpress China Medical Card for the First Year

Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card Cardholders will enjoy a free MediExpress China Medical Card* for the first year provided by Zurich Insurance Company. The policy entitles the Cardholder for emergency treatments due to accidents at more than 100 key hospitals in Mainland China without prepaying deposits. Furthermore, you are entitled to other medical services such as hospital transfers and Hong Kong bound post-treatment transportation.

The MediExpress China Medical Card will be sent to Principal Cardholder within 3-4 weeks upon card approval. The Medical Card will be valid for 1 year. Rewards Program

For every HKD/RMB 1 spent with your Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card, you will receive 1 point. Accumulated bonus points can be redeemed for cash coupons or mileage. You can also choose cash rebate as spending rewards.

For every HKD/RMB 1 spent with the card you will be entitled to 0.5% cash rebate. (Cash Rebate for RMB spending will be converted into HKD at 1:1 conversion rate).  Rebate amount will be calculated on monthly basis, and shown in the next monthly statement.

Whether you are in Hong Kong or Mainland China, easy and trouble-free settlement of your Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card balance can be done through the following ways:

 

Settling RMB Card Account

Settling HKD Card Account
In Hong Kong
  • Remit payment in Hong Kong Dollars4 to Mainland China through ICBC (Asia) branches in Hong Kong or by PPS to arrange autopay from your HKD savings or current account held at any bank in Hong Kong. Remittance handling fee will be waived.
  • Make a crossed HKD cheque payable to "ICBC (Asia)" in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. Please write your credit card account number and mark with "Renminbi Payment" at the back of your cheque. Payment of your Renminbi balance will be in the form of a remittance4 and the handling fee will be waived. A separate cheque should be given for the payment of Hong Kong Dollars balance. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 3 Clearing days1 before the "Payment Due Date".
  • Arrange transfer from ICBC account in Mainland China through Internet Banking Services5(website: www.icbc.com.cn).
  • PPS
    Simply register your credit card with the PPS, you can then make the payment through a touch-tone phone or the PPS website. You can call 18011 for bill registration and 18031 for bill payment, or alternatively visit the website at www.ppshk.com. ICBC (Asia) merchant code is 9232. Payment cut-off time is 7:00pm from Monday to Friday (except public holiday). Please settle the payment at least 1 Clearing day1 before "Payment Due Date".
  • JET Payment
    You may make payment from your bank account held at any JETCO member bank through ATMs with JET Payment signage or JETCO website www.jetco.com.hk. Payment cut-off time is 7:30pm from Monday to Friday (except public holiday). Please settle the payment at least 1 Clearing day1 before "Payment Due Date".
  • Autopay2
    Just complete and return the enclosed "Autopay Authorization Form" by mail, and your credit card payment can be settled simply through your designated HKD savings or current account held at any bank in Hong Kong. Your designated account will be debited for the pre-set repayment amount 1 Clearing day before the "Payment Due Date". Please prepare sufficient fund 2 Clearing days before the "Payment Due Date".
  • Cash or Cheque
    You may arrange payment by cash or by cheque at any branch of ICBC (Asia). Please write a crossed cheque payable to "ICBC (Asia)" with your credit card number written on the back, and enclose with the payment slip from your statement and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. Please send in your cheque payment at least 3 Clearing days1 before "Payment Due Date". Cash sent by mail or post-dated cheques are not accepted.
  • From ICBC (Asia) Account
    You can settle payment from ICBC (Asia) account at any branch of ICBC (Asia), or through JETCO ATMs, ICBC (Asia) Phone Banking Services or Internet Banking Services3.
In Mainland China
  • Settle payment via PPS.
  • Cash deposit in RMB at any ICBC branch in Mainland China.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to "ICBC (Asia)" in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. Please write your credit card account number and mark with "Renminbi Payment" at the back of your cheque. Payment of your Renminbi balance will be in the form of a remittance4 and the handling fee will be waived. Please note that a separate cheque should be given for the payment of Hong Kong Dollars balance. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 3 Clearing days1 before the "Payment Due Date".
  • Arrange transfer from ICBC RMB account in Mainland China through Internet Banking Services5(Website: www.icbc.com.cn).
  • Settle payment via PPS. ICBC (Asia) PPS Merchant Code is 9232. Please effect payment at least 1 Clearing day before the "Payment Due Date".
  • Arrange autopay3 from your HKD bank account in Hong Kong.
  • Arrange transfer from ICBC (Asia) Hong Kong Dollars account through "Phone Banking Roaming Service"6.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to "ICBC (Asia)" in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. Please write your credit card account number at the back of the cheque and effect payment at least 3 Clearing days7 before the Payment Due Date.

"Clearing day" means a day which is not a Saturday, Sunday and public holiday.

Autopay application must be completed first. For cancelling recurring transaction(s), e.g. payment for mobile phone bills and insurance subscription fee, etc, please cancel your instruction(s) to the respective merchant(s).

Only applicable to Cardholder who has successfully applied Phone Banking Services or Internet Banking Services.

4.

Please remit the payable amount after conversion in Hong Kong Dollars first while the difference will be posted to your Renminbi card account.

5.

Service is applicable to Cardholder who has savings account in ICBC, Mainland China and successfully applied for Internet Banking Services.

6.

Service is applicable to Cardholder who has Hong Kong Dollars savings account in ICBC (Asia) and successfully applied for Phone Banking Services.

7.

Please take note of the public holidays and postal lead time in Mainland China to prevent late payment.
