Renminbi / Hong Kong Dollar Account

The Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card has both Renminbi and Hong Kong Dollar accounts in one card: purchases and cash withdrawals via ICBC and UnionPay networks in Mainland China will be posted in Renminbi, so that you will not have to pay extra money for overseas purchase handling fee for Renminbi; purchases and cash withdrawals via Visa network in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas will be posted in Hong Kong Dollars. It saves you from the risks and burden of carrying cash during outbound travels. Perfect for business, shopping and entertainment.

Free MediExpress China Medical Card for the First Year

Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card Cardmembers will enjoy a free MediExpress China Medical Card* for the first year provided by Zurich Insurance Company. The policy entitles the Cardmember for emergency treatments due to accidents at more than 100 key hospitals in Mainland China without prepaying deposits. Furthermore, you are entitled to other medical services such as hospital transfers and Hong Kong bound post-treatment transportation.

The MediExpress China Medical Card will be sent to Principal Cardmember within 3-4 weeks upon card approval. The Medical Card will be valid for 1 year. In Hong Kong
  • Remit your payment in Hong Kong Dollars to Mainland China through ICBC (Asia) branches in Hong Kong or by PPS or arrange autopay from your ICBC (Asia) account. Handling fee will be waived4. Please effect payment at least 5 working days before the Payment Due Date.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre” in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 7 working days before the Payment Due Date. Please write your Credit Card account number marked with “Renminbi Payment” at the back of your cheque. The payment of your Renminbi balance will be in the form of a remittance and the handling fee will be waived4. Please note that a separate cheque should be given for the payment of Hong Kong Dollars balance.
  • Arrange transfer from your ICBC account in Mainland China through Internet Banking Service4 (Website: http://www.icbc.com.cn).
  • Settle payment through Payment by Phone Service (PPS); ICBC (Asia) PPS Merchant Code is 9232. (Please effect payment at least 1 clearing day before the Payment Due Date1.)
  • Settle payment through any ATM bearing “JET PAYMENT” logo or JETCO (Website: http://www.jetco.com.hk) from your bank account held at any JETCO member bank. (Please effect payment at least 1 clearing day before the Payment Due Date.)
  • Autopay2.
  • Direct cash, cheque or transfer funds from your account with ICBC (Asia) at any ICBC (Asia) branches.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC(Asia) Credit Card Centre” and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 3 clearing days before the Payment Due Date. Remember to write your Credit Card account number on the back of the cheque.
  • Settle payment through ATMs which carry the JETCO sign, ICBC (Asia) Phone Banking Services or Internet Banking Services3 by fund transfer from your ICBC (Asia) savings, current or 349 Super Account(s).
In Mainland China
  • Call PPS through IDD and instruct payment.
  • Direct cash deposit in ICBC domestic outlets with savings office in Mainland China.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre” in Hong Kong Dollars and mail to P. O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre must receive your cheque 7 working days before the Payment Due Date. Please write your Credit Card account number marked with “Renminbi Payment” at the back of your cheque. The payment of your Renminbi balance will be in the form of a remittance and the handling fee will be waived4. Please note that a separate cheque should be given for the payment of Hong Kong Dollars balance.
  • Arrange transfer from ICBC account in Mainland China through Internet Banking Service5 (Website: http://www.icbc.com.cn).
  • Arrange transfer from ICBC (Asia) Hong Kong Dollars account through “Phone Banking Roaming Service”6.
  • Call PPS through IDD and instruct payment.
  • Arrange autopay2 from your bank account in Hong Kong.
  • Make a crossed cheque payable to “ICBC (Asia) Credit Card Centre” and mail to P.O. Box 27, General Post Office, Hong Kong. ICBC (Asia) must receive your cheque 3 clearing days7 before the Payment Due Date. Remember to write your Credit Card account number on the back of the cheque.
1. "Clearing Day" means a day which is not a Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. Autopay application must be completed first.
2. Only applicable to Cardmembers who have selected ATM facilities on their Zurich Dual Currency Credit Card. The PIN for Phone Banking Services will be mailed to Cardmembers.
3. Please remit the payable amount in Hong Kong Dollars first while the difference will be posted to your Renminbi account. Renminbi cannot be used to settle your Renminbi balance in Hong Kong.
4. Service is applicable to cardmember who has savings account in ICBC, Mainland China and successfully applies for Internet Banking services.
5. Service is applicable to cardmember who has Hong Kong Dollars savings account in ICBC (Asia) and successfully applies for Phone Banking Service.
6. Please take note of the public holidays and postal lead time in Mainland China to prevent late payment.
