ICBC (Asia) Supports the Institute Development
Whenever you make purchase with your ICBC Caritas-Hong Kong Mastercard, you are helping Caritas Hong Kong because ICBC (Asia) will donate 0.45% of your total spending amount to Caritas Hong Kong automatically as a support for its community services.
Fixed Amount Donation
You may choose to make a monthly donation in fixed amount (HK$100/ 200/ 300 or an amount set by you) through your ICBC Caritas Institute of Higher Education and Bianchi College of Careers Mastercard to demonstrate your approval and support for Caritas HK’s beliefs and services.

Variable Amount Donation
Apart from fixed amount donation, you can also choose variable amount donation after every purchase. You can choose to round up each retail spending to the nearest whole One HK dollar or whole Ten HK dollars.
The above donation amount would be shown on the monthly Credit Card Account statement. Caritas HK will also issue donation receipt to cardholders for handling accounting or tax incentive.
Remark: Caritas HK will only issue receipt for donation of HK$100 or above per year.
Rewards Program1
Bonus Point
For every HKD spent with your ICBC Caritas Institute of Higher Education and Bianchi College of Careers Mastercard, you will receive 1 point. Accumulated bonus points can be redeemed for cash rebate and cash coupons. Bonus Point is valid for 1 year.
Cash Rebate
Moreover, you can also choose cash rebate as spending rewards. For every HKD spent with the card you will be entitled to 0.5% cash rebate. Rebate amount will be calculated on monthly basis, and shown in the statement.
1.Bonus point and cash rebate are not applicable to cash advances, balance transfer, cash installment loan amount/ tax loan and personal loan amount/ merchant installment loan amount and the repayment amount, reload/ transfer of e-wallet (including but not limited to Alipay, PayMe, Tap & Go and WeChat Pay), donations, purchase of casino chips, gambling transactions, unauthorized transactions, all payment type (including but not limited to credit card charges, cash installment, any financial charges, overdue charges, all account service charges, settlement through online personal banking service or ATM for insurance payment or utilities bills, tax payment, payment for MPF contribution etc. Or other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time). Also, the Rewards are not applicable to the transactions of supermarkets, fuel, transportation fees, property, motor vehicle, wholesale, hospital and tuition in China etc. (transaction types are determined according to the merchant categories as defined time to time by Visa, MasterCard and UnionPay and reserves the right to change the merchant categories from time to time, or at its sole discretion of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and (Asia) Limited). Transactions which have not been posted, cancelled, refunded or not authorized are not eligible to the rewards.
Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service2
Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service ("AAVS") enables you automatically to add value to any Octopus card / product without queuing when insufficient funds occur. Octopus card now can be used in Shenzhen. Octopus card / product with AAVS function can also be top-up at Shenzhen too.
The top-up value is entitled to cash rebate or bonus point as well as an interest-free repayment period. You can also apply for AAVS to your beloved ones.
